Overview

The Navigator Accounting suite is fully integrated to Sales, Parts and Workshop systems. The system operates up to 99 companies and unlimited branches. However it is designed to be simple to use and will operate the smallest sole trader business with ease.

As well as the usual Sales, Purchase and Nominal ledgers, the system has separate Vehicle, Warranty and Asset ledgers. Developed by DMS to the highest standard, it allows you full control of your accounts, without passing control to an external system.

The Sales Ledger has full credit facilities, and accounts can be setup for individual departments allowing parts only accounts, for example.

Authorisation of Purchase Invoices from Delivery Notes

Within the Purchase Ledger is the Navigator ‘Goods Accepted Not Invoiced’ (GANI) system, here all parts, sub-contract and sundry goods are posted to the GANI and are matched when posting the invoice. This enables the liability to be recorded and any supplier / department pricing errors to be highlighted easily without sending the invoices to department managers for checking. The GANI also automatically credits exceptional items such as returned items, short deliveries and bonuses.

The Nominal Ledger coding is comprehensive and able to handle dealerships and groups of all sizes. Coupled with extensive reporting and links to Excel for formatting and ‘what if’ analysis, the Navigator Accounting suite brings your business fully under your control.
