The Navigator Parts module is designed from the outset to be a marketing tool as well as a powerful Parts Management Invoicing system. It includes all the usual facilities for stock management and sales, doing everything a parts system should do and more. However, fundamentally it has been designed to help generate more profit.

Trade customers can be set up to automatically give the authorized discount, using a sophisticated matrix to ensure that profitability is maintained whilst being competitive. Different discount levels can be assigned for collection and delivery, as well as for specially ordered parts. This allows manual discounting by parts staff to be eliminated, and costly crediting and reinvoicing of parts due to incorrect pricing to be reduced.

The parts van delivery system allows the management of a no of vans, with parts deliveries being allocated automatically to each van depending on the route. A van delivery report ensures that all parts are on the van before dispatch, and provides a “signature” sheet for acceptance of delivery.

Sophisticated reporting analyses sales by customer type (trade, bodyshop, retail etc), by type of sale (Cash, credit) and by method of sale (delivery and collection) as well as various other permutations. Profitability of each customer can be reported and analysed. Reports can be exported to spreadsheets for further analysis.
